There are 5 windows with screens and 2 fans. The cabin also has an induction cooktop with pans and pots. Filtered well water is available. The cabin is located just 11 minutes away from AVL. The cabin offers quiet, private views from 180 degrees. It is located close to downtown Asheville (6 minutes). Warren Wilson College can be found just off the highway. This college is ideal for hiking along the Swannanoa River. Black Mountain now has two breweries, while Asheville has many more. Swannanoa is home to an Ingles restaurant and many coffee shops. The cabin is located just 11 minutes from downtown Asheville. It is also only 6 minutes from Black Mountain. Lone Wolf can be found in the Buckeye Cove area, which is a 3-mile loop and is great for running/biking. Uber is available in this area. The nearest hike is a short one along the Swannanoa River (about l.5 mi from the cabin).
This cabin is charming and comfortable. The cabin is not suitable for pets. You can feed the chickens, but please do not feed them. Bring dry wood to the fire pit. The owners will provide kindling and thick logs. Children under 12 years of age are not safe. The entire cabin and the full bathroom are yours to use for the weekend. Swannanoa might not be as well-known as some other cities in the United States but that shouldn’t deter you. Swannanoa is an upcoming tourist destination that is smaller but just as beautiful. It is definitely worth a trip. You will be amazed at the variety of activities and places you can discover in this hidden location.
