Steel Frame Cabin Kit Home from $6990

  • 3 min read

This week’s most popular item was the inexpensive kit home. These kits homes can be assembled with a little DIY. We took a look at their 3-bedroom model before, and this one is a one-bedroom cabin – a tiny home shell basically. It’s the CSC model 1838.

It’s part the “Weekender Series”, which, as you can imagine, hints at the design purpose. A cabin that can be built on a weekend-friendly piece or property and used for frequent trips. According to the builders, the Weekender Series is now available from CSC Building Systems. This area was created to be a refuge from the “city” lifestyle, where one can reconnect with nature and the simpler ways of life. The Weekender Series is a steel framing system that has been engineered for recreational use. The lightweight steel is easy to transport and can be set up quickly by two or more workers without the need of any special lifting equipment. This makes it the ideal framing system to help the advanced Do-It-Yourselfer. If the stress of today’s hectic lifestyle becomes too much, it would be nice to retreat to your weekend retreat to regain your true perspective.
