If you’re familiar with Amish businesses, you will also be familiar with their reputation for producing quality products. Amish architecture is beautiful. I love the craftsmanship. Their attention to detail results in a stunning structure. If you are looking for a house, barn or shed, or a garage, an Amish build might be the best option.

Details, details, details! They are the key ingredient to quality work. This is something that the Amish Barn Company fully understands. They are located in upstate New York, and have been providing quality work to customers since 2005. The Amish Barn Company can build small dog houses or large horse barns. But not all of us have animals to care for, so let’s take a look at one their structures that could be useful to all. A home! These cabins make a great choice for anyone looking for a weekend getaway or a permanent residence.

There are many styles of cabins available. I will be highlighting the larger style, the Board and Batten Cabin With Loft! This cabin is made from A frames and has a beautiful front porch. The beams that frame the porch and highlight the A-frame roof are the first thing you’ll notice when you look at this cabin.  There is a subtle, but warm, resemblance between the sun rise and the porch. It has a single beam that runs horizontally across it. Three vertical beams connect it to the roof. This detail can give you a new appreciation of the design. Next, you need to pay attention to the windows. Windows are important because they allow for amazing views and natural light to flood homes. This feature has the best advantage of being customizable to suit clients’ needs. The pictures will show that one home has a small circular window at the second floor and the other two large windows upstairs. It might be fun for this cabin to have a set of double cross braced doors and to accent the front porch with a large triangular windows.

It’s difficult not to notice the beauty of this structure made from beautiful wood. With this cabin, stain is your best friend! It will allow you the freedom to change the color of the wood without altering its grain. In the photos below, you will see that two different types of stain were used. To create more contrast, a red stain was used on one cabin. You will find a large area inside the cabin with a staircase that leads up to the loft area. The interior will be customized to your specifications.

Other details are not visible in the build. The Amish Barn Company works with its customers to make owning a Amish Barn Company structure more affordable. This is evident in their rent to own program. They offer free delivery to all locations within 100 miles of their Oneonta, NY home. It seems like this company cares about their products as much as they care about their clients!

Here’s a message they sent to you: Amish Barn Company says that their single-wide one-story cabins start around $5,400. Our cabins built on site start at around $25,000.
