John Murchie from MurchTech Consulting Corp. builds innovative tiny houses in British Columbia. One of their models, the Eagle Microhome, has 350 square feet and a deck of 50 square feet on the second floor. The homes are around $48,000, and made of steel instead of wood. They’re lighter and less expensive to build.
This home is not as plain as it appears. It has a very good floorplan and a well-designed interior.
The dark woods add warmth to the room and provide a nice contrast with the white color scheme. The living area is off the kitchen. Each model has a built in bench with storage underneath.
The main entryway has a built-in coat storage area and there is also more storage under the staircase.
The bathroom features a large shower stall, a slim cabinet for the sink and a toilet that is full-sized.
A large bedroom upstairs gives you plenty of space for a bed, and even built-in storage.
The sitting area on the other side leads out to the upper deck. All of this makes for a very impressive master suite.
These houses are built in the MurchTech headquarters, and then delivered by truck. This means that there is very little construction on site. Act now if you’re interested in an Eagle Microhome. The company is offering them at a much lower price of just $19,500. Click here to learn more: murch-techconsultingcorp.com/.
