Ever wondered what it would be like living in the White House? Okay, that’s probably true. Unless you visit D.C. to take the tour.
You can still live in the tiny house “White House” designed by Sun Bear Tiny Homes. With such a stately name, it has a lot to live up to—and it delivers. Let’s see it.
As you can see, “White House”, is not a literal title. The façade of the home is not white at all. It is very clearly gray.
The rustic doors add a unique, but charming touch to a home that is otherwise modern.
The house measures 24 x 8.5 ft. It was built using 20-gauge steel studs with a metal roof and 24-gauge siding with a metal roof. It is sturdy and built to last with the stabilizing jacks at its corners and the D ring tie downs.
Closed cell spray foam insulation keeps the interior temperature at the right level, while galvanized sheet metal protects and protects the bottom.
Although the exterior is attractive, it is a bit bland. So it did nothing to prepare me for how stunning and distinctive the interior was going to be …
Wow! Beautiful Brazilian Pecan hardwood floors! And yes—that is the same wood you see on the countertops. There was no waste!
The custom cabinets come with 14 drawers for all of your stuff. It’s quite impressive. A loft is reached by stairs that double as cabinets. The bathroom is located beneath the loft.
The bathroom is so efficient and seamlessly integrated into the design, it almost looks like hidden storage. Notice the cool sliding barn door—another rustic embellishment.
This spacious closet is a luxury in itself.
The loft has ample ceiling clearance, which is a refreshing departure from the low-ceilinged lofts that predominate in the tiny house world.
The White House even has room for a washer-dryer combination. Isn’t that cool?
Wow … I can’t believe I’m seeing this. It’s bigger than most primary lofts I’ve seen in tiny houses.
I think this home features a nice blend of the type of contemporary décor which you see in many suburban homes (and which we naturally associate with comfort as a result), but with those rustic touches which give it a more authentic vibe. The spacious sink is a must-see!
This beautiful kitchen has three burners so you can cook whatever you want.
The simple color scheme, which emphasizes greys as well as browns, has a calming effect.
This shot shows that the secondary loft isn’t very large, but it’s not small either.
This place is amazing for storage. Take a look at all the space available for food!
Every detail, even the shower, is artfully done.
The cabinet space is amazing.
Storage … storage … and more storage!
Here’s what the kitchen looks like when the sliding barndoor to the bathroom is closed.

The White House is also equipped with many other luxurious features that make it even more luxurious. The home is 335 square feet and costs $75,000. This home is very affordable considering all the luxury features included. You won’t ever want to live in a DC mansion again with your tiny White House. You will have your own little palace, with all the amenities you need in one small space.
