The property is located at the end of a quiet street and backs onto National Forest Service land. The main feature of the open floor plan is its twenty-foot ceilings and walls of windows. These windows bring the outdoors into the main living area. Modern furnishings and finishes complete the look.
The Wilderness vacation home offers a fully equipped chef’s cooking area, including Bosch appliances and a large prep island/breakfast counter. The custom dining table can seat ten people comfortably, while the breakfast bar can hold four. The outdoor space offers plenty of seating and beautiful views of the aspen, spruce, and pine forests. The outdoor gas fireplace is a great spot to gather year-round. For the summer, a hammock and sandbox are welcome additions. Wilderness now has a custom-built outdoor Wind Riverspa for guests that is equipped with twin 5hp motors (instead of the more standard 3hp configuration). This allows you to work out any kinks on your ski or bike day. This addition did not compromise the outdoor living space, as an extension was made to the concrete patio to accommodate the new amenity.
The Wilderness features three large bedrooms. One is the main bedroom, with one king-size and one guest bed. A bunk room has four twin beds. An open loft area includes convertible sofa beds that can be converted to two full-size beds. It has one full bathroom that is located in the guest sleeping quarters. This bathroom also includes a full-size dryer/he washer and an en-suite bathroom in the main bedroom. The bedrooms accommodate four adults and four kids. The loft houses four additional adults. Wilderness comes with two HD TVs and full premium cable channels. There is also an Xfinity DVR and a Boston Acoustic soundsystem in the main living area.
The loft also features a desk with an LCD monitor that can be used to connect laptops. The entire home is connected to high-speed wireless Internet.
